N. Kenji Taylor, MD MSc
U.S.-trained family physician based in Japan who trained in family medicine at Brown, UPenn, UCSF and Stanford prior to coming to Japan. He has experience in academic medicine, global health, military medicine and health technology innovation. He provides patient-centered care with a focus on fitness, caring for families, and psychiatry in primary care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kenji is a father of 3, enjoys music and anything outdoors.
Family PhysicianArisa Takeuchi, MD
U.S.- and Japan-trained family physician originally from Tokyo, with an MD from the University of the Ryukyus, residency in family medicine and geriatrics at Oregon Health & Science University, and clinical practice in Hawaii before returning to Japan in 2025. She offers patient-centered care across the lifespan, emphasizing family medicine, chronic disease management, and healthy aging.

Japan-trained family physician based in Yokohama, with residency training in family and community medicine and a fellowship at the U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa. Since 2015, he has led the Department of Family and Community Medicine at JCHO Yokohama Hodogaya Central Hospital and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Yokohama City University. He enjoys travel and is a beer connoisseur.

Licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, identity concerns, and emotional challenges. She provides a non-judgmental, culturally competent, and LGBTQ+ affirming space where clients can explore and grow. In-person sessions are available in Zama, with telehealth available throughout Japan.
Therapist (Yokosuka + Telehealth)Andrea D'Ovidio LPC
U.S.-licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Bologna. He provides individual therapy in English and Italian for adults (18+) facing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and major life transitions. His approach integrates evidence-based therapies including EMDR, CBT, and DBT, and he offers an LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive space focused on healing and resilience.
Therapist (Telehealth)Monet Collins LPC
Licensed therapist and certified ADHD specialist supporting teens and adults with ADHD/AuDHD in developing practical strategies for focus, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. She also works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and the challenges of military life. Her integrative approach draws from Jungian psychology and incorporates elements of Buddhist-informed CBT and ACT.
RN and Clinic ManagerShiori Funaki, RN
Registered nurse and clinic manager trained at St. Luke’s International Hospital, with additional experience at a children’s hospital. Having grown up between the U.S., Japan, and Germany, she navigates healthcare systems and cultures with ease. Outside the clinic, she enjoys escape rooms, J-pop, and baking.

Sachiko Fukada, RN
Japan- and U.S.-licensed RN who spent 15 years in Pittsburgh working in the ICU. She supports families at Camp Zama and Zama General Hospital and has served as a clinic translator for the U.S. Army, helping patients navigate care across languages and healthcare systems. Outside of work, she enjoys beer, outdoor festivals, and traveling.
