Welcome to 2026 — The Year of the Horse
As we step into 2026, the Year of the Horse in Japan, all of us at Torii Health want to pause and say thank you.
In Japanese culture, the horse symbolizes strength, reliability, and steady forward movement. A theme we heard again and again was a sense of safety:
Safety navigating the Japanese healthcare system
Safety being understood in English
Safety knowing someone would follow up, explain next steps, and stay with you
That sense of safety is the heart of why Torii Health exists—especially for SOFA members and their families in Japan.
Help Guide Our Next Steps in the Year Ahead
As we move forward into 2026, we want to do so thoughtfully and with intention. The best way to do that is by listening to you to help us:
Understand what made you feel supported
Identify gaps in access, communication, or follow-up
Decide which services should be expanded next
Strengthen continuity and coordination of care for SOFA members

Start the Year on the Right Foot
The start of the year is a natural time to reset:
Catch up on preventive care
Revisit chronic conditions
Address things you’ve been putting off
Establish a primary care relationship you can rely on
Whether you’re checking in, getting started, or continuing care, we’re here—and we’re committed to moving forward with you in 2026.
Thank you for being part of the Torii Health community.
Warm wishes,
Dr. Kenji and the Torii Health-Iris Dental and Medical Team
